Lemonade on a hot summer day…

Who doesn’t love a 1st birthday party? We sure do! And its even better when it’s a good friend. The A family hosted a beautiful lemonade swimming party last weekend and we were lucky enough to be asked to shoot it. The birthday girl looked precious (as usual) and everyone enjoyed some lemonade and birthday fun on a hot summer day.

Happy Birthday Sweet Anabelle

R Sibling Session

We really enjoyed this sibling session. All three kids were at such great ages and seemed to really enjoy being with each other. Thank you R family for a great morning!

Every time I look through these pictures I find more I love. Such cute kids!

Disaster Family Photo Giveaway Mini Session

It’s been awhile (see previous post about our recent busyness) but I’m sure some of you remember our nail biting Disaster Family Photo contest. The voting was so close and we really appreciate everyone participating. We really enjoyed shooting our winning family. They have two adorable kids. Their son is a monkey to say the least and he kept us on our toes. He was a joy to chase after and shoot. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we did. Congratulations M family your photos aren’t a disaster any more!

Owen’s First Birthday Party

Owen’s First Birthday!

It’s been awhile since I’ve updated. Not because we haven’t been working but because my life has been consumed by party planning craziness. Nap time aka Mommy’s office hours were taken over by banner making, table planning, and favor labeling. It was all worth it! We had a great turn out and loved getting to celebrate our favorite one year old with our family and friends. Here are some pics Kenneth took of the day. I see now why people hire us to capture everything. It’s all such a blur!

Everywhere you look you’ll see blue and yellow gingham!

The favor table. I made sun shaped cookie pops for the adults and the kids got bubbles with beach ball labels.

I found these pin wheels at Hobby lobby and loved them. I used some of Kenneth’s old marbles and mason jars to make the centerpieces.

We have SO many great pictures of him from the last year it was so hard to choose for the photo time line.

Thank goodness for my Cricut or none of this would have been possible!

Most of the party was outside in the Texas heat so we put pools and a beach ball sprinkler out for the kids. I think they enjoyed it.

My favorite part of the party was our photo booth. We put it up in our office using some white seamless paper and a banner I made. We set the camera up on our tripod and used a keyboard sustain pedal to make it automated. Everyone LOVED it and we got some great shots.

This picture makes all the hard work and stress worth it. What a wonderful day!

But that doesn’t mean we weren’t all tired at the end of it. :)

Proof Party at the Park

I love Proof Parties! It always amazes me how Kenneth can take a random location and 20 minutes with a family and come up with such beautiful images. It is so fun spending time with the families and meeting new people. We would love to schedule a Proof Party for you! Tell me you wouldn’t love to have some pictures of your kids like these.

He found his brother’s belly button! Too precious!

Thanks Ahlfors family for a great day at the Park! We loved it!
