Owen’s First Birthday!
It’s been awhile since I’ve updated. Not because we haven’t been working but because my life has been consumed by party planning craziness. Nap time aka Mommy’s office hours were taken over by banner making, table planning, and favor labeling. It was all worth it! We had a great turn out and loved getting to celebrate our favorite one year old with our family and friends. Here are some pics Kenneth took of the day. I see now why people hire us to capture everything. It’s all such a blur!

Everywhere you look you’ll see blue and yellow gingham!

The favor table. I made sun shaped cookie pops for the adults and the kids got bubbles with beach ball labels.

I found these pin wheels at Hobby lobby and loved them. I used some of Kenneth’s old marbles and mason jars to make the centerpieces.

We have SO many great pictures of him from the last year it was so hard to choose for the photo time line.

Thank goodness for my Cricut or none of this would have been possible!

Most of the party was outside in the Texas heat so we put pools and a beach ball sprinkler out for the kids. I think they enjoyed it.

My favorite part of the party was our photo booth. We put it up in our office using some white seamless paper and a banner I made. We set the camera up on our tripod and used a keyboard sustain pedal to make it automated. Everyone LOVED it and we got some great shots.

This picture makes all the hard work and stress worth it. What a wonderful day!

But that doesn’t mean we weren’t all tired at the end of it.
